Offering an alternative to more traditional wooden blocks, the Latin Percussion Jam Blocks are made from durable Jenigor plastic that's able to withstand the rigours of touring life and deliver a defined and slicing attack. Each member of the series comes in a different colour to indicate a specific function, and here, the LP1209 Guiro Jam Block comes in purple and finished with an open, ribbed edge to create a distinct guiro effect, while the 'wood block' itself has a nice and deep response. This unique percussion instrument comes complete with a mounting point so it can be easily secured to any 3/8 inch rod or stand.
