Designed from scratch to guarantee richer, bigger sound and enhanced clarity and dynamics, the Ibanez Advanced Acoustic AAD440CE guitar is a more-than-worthy addition to the Platinum Collection. Unplugged, this model has an immediately warm and woody foundation with the boosted resonance of the solid African mahogany soundboard, back and sides of the Grand Dreadnought body. The bone saddle and nut further reinforce the natural tone and definition, while the set-in neck boasts an ultra-stable five-piece pau ferro and mahogany construction and comes finished with a Low-Oval Grip profile and satin-gloss polyurethane to support gliding playability.

The deluxe Macassar ebony fretboard has been given a fast and flat 15.57 inch radius, and doesn't just feature exclusively designed maple inlays but a set of Luminlay side dots, so you can comfortably navigate the frets on darker stages. Inside, a Custom Electronics preamp system delivers the big, wide open amplified sound of an AP11 magnetic pickup and matching AP11 contact pickup, the output of which can be mixed to customise the sound, whether it's plugged in via the mono or stereo jack output. And, since this is a Platinum Collection model, it comes pre-wrapped in a hardshell case complete with an adjustment key.
