The world-famous Zildjian Company has been using secret alloys for their cymbals since way back in 1623, and has passed on that well-kept secret from generation to generation. The A Custom series gets its name from the founder of this family business who got the Zildjian name from the sultan in Constantinople, Avedis I. Furthermore, it has been designed in collaboration with renowned drummer Vinnie Colaiuta.
