The Ibanez AVT1-NT (Natural) is a very special acoustic western guitar: it is a tenor guitar which means it has four strings instead of six. The standard tuning for such a guitar is C-G-D-A, which corresponds to the tuning of a 4-string tenor banjo. Originally, this type of instrument was intended for banjo players who wanted to make an easy switch to the guitar. But that is not the only reason to include the AVT1 in your collection!
AVT1-NT: a tenor guitar
The most appealing part of a tenor guitar such as this AVT1, is its characteristic sound.
