I wanted a beater guitar that cost little. However, I was surprised at how good this guitar (Fazley W70-GAMSB ColourTune Grand Auditorium Acoustic Guitar Matte Sunburst) is. Both the construction and finish are flawless. The sound is bright but with good bass. The matt finish is pleasant to the touch, and probably better for sound amplification than gloss. One thing to note is that the guitar is very light,probably for economy of woods. Which may well assist with resonance, and it rings for a long time after a strum. The neck is really excellent, narrow and slim, which, together with the Richlite fingerboard, make it very fast and easy to play. The latter is quite amazing really, a deep black, slightly gloss, and you can't tell it from ebony or a similar wood, except that there is no figure. All-in-all, at £48, this has to be astonishingly good value for money. And it plays very well. Ten out of ten.
