From broad daylight to a dimly-lit nightclub, the Zoom Q4n audio/video recorder provides top-quality audio and video under any circumstances! This compact camera has ten scene settings for different lighting and audio situations, which means you can capture that incredible sunset, or your favourite band in a crowded underground pub. The two microphones can be set to two different configurations: A/B and X/Y, which are applicable to any given situation.

Q4n: Periscope Mics

A unique characteristic of this sleek, compact camera is its set of microphones. You can slide them up and choose one of the two available recording configurations. If you choose A/B, you can capture some of the ambient noise as well; perfect if you have several people speaking in your shot. With X/Y, you can make a stereo recording that's especially suitable for music or vlogging. The mics can handle up to 140 dB and have built-in gain-control, so even at louder volume levels, like at a concert, you can rely on excellent audio. Naturally, you can make videos in HD (1080p, 720p) and WVGA.

Social Camera

As well as the aforementioned recording functions, this Zoom Q4n is a very social device. With the included USB cable, you can connect it to your PC or iPad and use it as a webcam. You can also charge it this way, or clean up the memory if need be. If you want to switch from handheld to stable video recording, use the stand adapter to mount the camera to a mic stand or tripod.
