With their NCAT5E-50M, Behringer presents 50 metres of high-grade UTP cable of the commonly used Cat5e type, supplied on a durable reel. For this product, Behringer wanted nothing but the best quality, so they chose Neutrik materials for both cabling and connectors: etherFLEX cable and etherCON connectors, to be precise. The reel was manufactured by the renowned Schill company, which makes professional cable drums from unbreakable synthetic rubber that can withstand extreme temperatures (-20 to 70 degrees Celsius), chemicals, oil and gasoline. If you require more than fifty metres, you can simply combine two reels by means of a separately available Neutrik NE8FF connector.

NCAT5E-50M: reliable and practical

This reel of network cable is a sensible choice for sound engineers who need to transmit or receive a large number of digital channels from their mixing console, using a protocol such as AES50, Dante, EtherSound, CobraNet or AVB. Thanks to its excellent shielding, the cable won't let interference (EMI, RF, ESD) muck up your signal. The reel features an integrated, adjustable brake that prevents the cable from uncoiling inadvertently, while two metres of cable on the outside allow for easy connection to a mixing console. During transport, the cable ends are secured by means of Velcro strips, and rubber caps protect the connectors.
