The Mapex B74 boom cymbal holder is the ideal way to add, for instance, a splash to your set-up. Just attach it to one of your existing stands with a clamp, and the boom arm gives you the freedom to find the ideal position for your new cymbal.

It is equipped with a stepless Super-Glide tilter that has an easy-to-operate handle, so finding the right angle for the boom arm is a breeze. Furthermore, it comes with Mapex' Multi-Sustain cymbal felts. These feature two sides, one side being a felt cymbal washer, and the other being a plastic cymbal washer. The felt side provides a soft, vibration-absorbing base for your cymbal that decreases cymbal resonance, while the plastic side allows your cymbal to resonate freely for extended sustain.

Finally, the B74 has what Mapex calls a 'hideaway arm', which means that the knurled boom arm slides completely into the main pipe, allowing you to use it as a straight cymbal holder, which saves room during transport, for instance!
