It took some blood, sweat and tears but the results are amazing - Ibanez have released a superb model: the G105 Brown Burst bass guitar. This bass is a breeze to play, and thanks to its limited weight you are guaranteed a highly comfortable playing experience. The G105 is fitted with five strings for a broader tonal range and extra deep tones. Moreover, the G105 also features that distinctive Grooveline body, which is elegant and practical at the same time.
Wood and hardware
The body of the Ibanez G105 is made of alder, providing this bass guitar with a strongly atmospheric sound, especially in the mid and low frequency range which is exactly the right timbre for a bass guitar. Thanks to the fixed neck, you also get excellent sustain.
Pickups and uniqueness
The Ibanez G104 is equipped with two identical CAP-SAH4 pickups, the, which are known for their bright and clear tone and for providing power in the lower frequencies. A rosewood fretboard makes for a very comfortable playing experience. The bass guitar features a standard number of 22 frets that give access to the higher and lower frequencies. Furthermore, the bass features a distinctive Ibanez cutaway that makes it extremely easy to reach the highest frets.
