Gretsch G6129T-RDSP-LTD15: Types of Wood, Bigsby and Grover
The Gretsch G6129T-RDSP-LTD15 has a sparkling red finish on a triple arched maple top. The body and neck are made of mahogany, while the fretboard is made of ebony. The sound of the Gretsch Duo Jet Red Sparkle is an airy, warm acoustic sound with creamy accents and a light bite. Subtle swoops used in surfing, rock n' roll and country styles can be created using the B3C tremelo from the legendary maker Bigsby. For tuning stability the G6129T has Grover Sta-Tite machine heads. The aged inlays on the fretboard have the Gretsch pearloid Big Block shape that contribute to the luxurious feel of this RDSP-LTD15.
DynaSonic Single-Coil Pickups
This electric hollow-body, with the DynaSonic Single-Coil Pickups, gives the striking and full sound that Gretsch is famous for on a guitar that is great to look at and a pleasure to play. The single cutaway on this Red Sparkle Duo Jet ensures that even the highest of the 22 jumbo frets on the neck are easy to access. The Gretsch G6129T also has a solid Grover Sta-Tie bridge, a solid three-position switch and silver coloured G-arrow volume and tone controls. The volume for each pickup can be controlled, as can the master tone and total volume.
