In an acoustic setup, the sound of a bass drum is often too loud. In such situations, the combination of a cajon and this Gibraltar GCP Cajon Pedal is a great solution! This rugged and practical pedal consists of two parts: the beater part and the pedal itself, connected by means of a cable. The soft beater is excellent for use with a cajon.
Use of the GCP
The beater part of the Cajon Pedal can be attached to your cajon by means of the C-clamp. Experiment with the position of the pedal to get the sound you want! Spring tension can be adjusted to tighten the cable. The cam arms (the part where the cable/beater is attached) can also be adjusted to suit your preferences.

Het pedaaltje werk uitstekend, ideaal dat we tijdens een optreden niet steeds de cajon hoeven te verplaatsen. Nu kunnen alle bandleden gebruik maken van de cajon zonder al het gesleep met snoeren e.d
De service was ook perfect, netjes de volgende dag bezorgd, zoals beloofd.
Na twee uurtjes rustig repeteren brak de kabel zomaar af bij de aangeperste schroefaansluiting. Dat lijkt mij toch niet de bedoeling.
Ik mag hem wel terugsturen, maar dan zit ik wekenlang zonder, want ik krijg geen nieuwe toegestuurd. En ik heb hem de komende weken gewoon nodig! Het enige alternatief is van Schlagwerk en meer dan 2x zo duur.
Dus met de fietsenboer een noodoplossing bedacht in de vorm van een handremschroef. Alles opnieuw afgesteld en ik kan hem nu tenminste weer gebruiken. Geen aanrader, derhalve.
