Pearl's MDT764P/C701 Midtown Black Gold Sparkle shell set is easy to transport thanks to its compact size. The shells are made of 6 plies of poplar for a full sound which means they're ideal for gigging. The 16 x 14-inch bass drum comes complete with a riser. A tom holder is included too for mounting the 10 x 7-inch tom on top of the bass drum. A 13 x 12-inch floor tom and a 13 x 5.5-inch snare drum complete the set.
Sound
The bass drum produces solid, deep lows while the snare drum and toms have a brighter sound. The 6 plies of poplar have a combined thickness of 7.5 mm. Remo drumheads are included and they're held firmly in place by triple-flanged hoops with the hoops on the bass drum being the same colour as it is. All of this is available at a price that's more affordable than many single snare drums too! Drum bags especially for these shells can be ordered separately making it even easier to take them with you.

De kit klink erg goed, had ik niet verwacht voor zo'n klein formaat. De gold sparkle komt alleen niet heel goed over, dan zou ik eerder voor de wine red gaan.
