Not only does the Korg Krome owe its name to the popular Kronos series, that's also where it got part of its high-quality sound and comprehensive functionality. The Krome workstation is lighter of weight, though, and available for a more attractive price. This versatile keyboard is equipped with 61 semi-weighted keys, which lend it a realistic, low-resistance piano feel. The Korg Krome is surprisingly portable, can be used intuitively and offers better sounds than other models in the same price range and even some more expensive models. Whether you use it at home, in the studio or live on stage, with the Korg Krome 61-key workstation you're able to create professional music productions each and every time.
Korg Krome 61-key workstation: ultra-realism
The Krome features hundreds of studio-grade sounds, ranging from synth basses to strings. The most remarkable sounds, however, are the extremely realistic grand pianos and ultra-dynamic electric pianos, which have been borrowed from the Korg Kronos series. The Krome offers 4 GB of memory, which means each of its 61 keys triggers natural-sounding, full-length samples. There is also a selection of essential vintage effects for you to choose from, including phaser and tremolo, and the Korg Krome features a realistic rhythm section with more than 600 drum tracks and patterns as well. A single push of a button triggers professional drums that are automatically adjusted to the sound you're working with at that particular moment.
Versatile and intuitive touch screen interface
The Krome 61-key workstation really comes into its own when you use it on stage. Its clearly illuminated buttons and live performance controls offer you everything you need for quick sound adjustments during intense live shows. The heart of the Krome is a redesigned 7-inch widescreen Touchview colour display, which allows you to activate sounds and functions by touch, to drag them and to swype. All required controls, levels and information are displayed in high resolution. The Krome wouldn't be a workstation if it didn't feature powerful production tools, however. Fortunately it does, including a touch-controlled 16-track sequencer with all the effects and mastering tools you may expect from a full-fledged Korg workstation. With this 61-key workstation you're able to touch your music and make it come alive!
