Lehle Parallell L line mixer

The Lehle Parallel L is a slightly more elaborate version of the high-quality Parallel M line mixer - which was already a great tool for mixing your direct guitar signal and your effects chain. The only difference between the two devices is that the Parallel L features a True Bypass switch that allows you to switch between the direct signal and the input/return mix. It's accompanied by a clear LED indicator, which lights up red when the latter option is selected. If you use a PSU to power the mixer, the LED will turn green in Bypass mode.

How to use the Parallel L

The Parallel L is a great way of mixing your guitar signal with your effects chain. Connect your instrument to the input, your amp to the output, and your effects to the send/return. Gain can be controlled for both the dry and the wet signal. Use the Lehle line mixer's mix knob to blend your signals just the way you like them. The Parallel L allows for more than just this one configuration, however. You can also use it to mix two pickups, for instance.

A line mixer with high-grade components

Thanks to the mixer's wide dynamic range, mixing your guitar signal with, for example, a 19" low-impedance line-level effect is no problem whatsoever. What's more, the Parallel L supports both high-impedance input (guitar, bass) and low-impedance input (keyboard, active guitar). If you're using a tube amplifier, the line mixer rectifies the input voltage from the power supply and converts it to 18 volts, making the most of the amp's dynamics. Finally, the Parallel L features a phase switch and an Unbalanced/Balanced switch for the Return.
