Resurrected to celebrate Tama's 50th birthday, the Limited Edition Starclassic Mirage is back. This shell set bundles up five shells made from a spectral transparent acrylic, giving the drums the same unique sound as the Mirage that first dropped back in 2007. The acrylic shell walls give the sound less low-end than standard wooden shells and support an enormous, solid and consistent response. While the sound of acrylic drums won't work for everything and everyone, the look will definitely bring some one-off stage presence.

Super-complete, this five-piece includes a 10 inch by 7 inch and 12 inch by inch tom, a 14 inch by 12 inch and 16 inch by 14 inch floor tom, and a 22 inch by 16 inch kick drum. Combined with compatible cymbal stands and the included set of two Tama MC69 tom mounts, the hanging toms can be suspended for maximum resonance and, to complete the aesthetics in contemporary style, the Crystal Ice look of each shell is set off by black-nickel plated hardware
