The Toca T2151G fibreglass shekere is a percussion instrument with quite a cheerful look about it. Its core is a gourd-like body made of fibreglass, while the netting of glass beads around the body gives the instrument a groove shaker sound. By striking the bottom of the shekere you create a mid/low bass tone, reminiscent of the sound of an udu drum. All in all, this instrument can produce highly complete grooves. Finally, the glass beads were made red, yellow and green to enhance the instrument's look.

Medium shekere voor goede prijs. Fijne bastoon. Even spelen met de afstelling van het kralennet. Loopt snel los als je geen knoop legt. Nog niet met de band gebruikt. Hij is echter vrij luid, dus ik maak me geen zorgen over de hoorbaarheid in een omgeving met microfoons. Even dopje in doen met oefenen vanwege volume. Nadeel is dat het instrument erg glad is, dus je hebt niet veel grip. Dit is vast te verhelpen met tape erop en eraf, maar liever meteen goed bij aankoop.
