The Klark Teknik MIC BOOSTER CM-2 in-line preamp can be set up to boost the signal of a pair of dynamic or passive ribbon microphones with +25dBs of gain before sending it through a mixer or interface for consistent, lossless performance. By pushing the gain before the signal even reaches the mixer, the mixer input gain can be pulled back to a more comfortable level. This smart and simple booster is purely designed for passive microphones, so you're assured that no damage will be caused by unnecessary phantom power.
