Loyal to tradition, the NS Design WAV Electric Upright Bass captures the essence of an acoustic double bass but also opens up a ton of fresh potential. Thanks to the solid body finished with flamed maple veneer and the patented Polar directional piezo pickup system, this electric double bass delivers impressive sound by registering both the vertical and lateral vibrations, supporting enhanced sustain, dynamic bow action, and percussive plucking. NS Design even includes a durable gig bag and a handy tripod stand.
The WAV Electric Upright Bass: Great Playability
One of the biggest advantages of the solid-body construction is that it keeps the overall design more compact and portable. This, as well as the asymmetrical fingerboard and subtle, stepped position markers, only adds to the versatility and playability of the NS Design WAV 4. This elegant instrument even features a special arco/pizzicato mode switch so you can make sure that every nuance in your playing is heard.
