Part of the Bass Workshop collection, the Ibanez SRMS720 represents the 21st-century bass guitar, complete with a multi-scale fretboard that graduates from 34.5 to 33.5 inches so the thicker strings have a slightly tighter feel and the thinner strings have a slightly looser feel. This Soundgear-style model has also been kitted out with two Fishman Fluence pickups and an extensive set of knobs and switches, including 3-band EQ controls and a balancer pot for dialling in the perfect mix of both pickups.

What also makes the SRMS720 exceptionally versatile is the 3-way Fishman Fluence voice select switch, which actually puts six core voicings at your disposal in combination with the push/pull volume pot, which toggles between double-coil and single-coil mode. The redesigned Fluence Bass Soapbar pickups guarantee hum and noise-free tone no matter your preferred voicing, while the SRMS4 profile of the 5-piece neck, the 12-inch radius and 24 medium frets of the panga-panga fretboard, and the comfortably contoured okoume body combine to offer a more than satisfying playing feel.
