Celebrating the 25th anniversary of their BTB basses, Ibanez drops a special model: the six-string BTB25TH6 in Silver Blizzard Matte. This eye-catching bass features a neck-through-body construction with okoume wings, a maple/walnut neck and a trusty rosewood fretboard with a 35-inch scale length and a 37.4-inch radius to support even the most technical bass lines across the entire board. You're also looking at twenty-four, medium stainless steel frets plus a zero fret so your open strings sound just as defined as fretted strings.
The Ibanez BTB25TH6: Fat-Bottomed, Flexible Single-Coil Sound
Armed with a pair of Nordstrand Big Single pickups, the BTB25TH6 serves up a full plate of single-coil sounds, all supported by a fat bottom end. For perfectly dialled in sound, you're kitted out with a balancer control as well as a Custom Electronics 3-band EQ and a 3-way mid frequency switch (250 Hz/450 Hz/700 Hz). In other words, this sonically wide-ranging bass can be steered in any stylistic direction.
