Allmänt
This is the stylish Artisan Red version of the ID:Core BEAM that also comes in black. This compact, burgundy box is a programmable amplifier combo with Bluetooth functionality built-in. BEAM stands for Bass Electric Acoustic Music. This means that it is suitable for connecting a bass, electric or acoustic guitar. Thanks to Bluetooth, it's also possible to stream your favourite music or a backing track from your smartphone or tablet so that you can jam along at the same time. Super Wide Stereo technology ensures that the sound produced is much bigger than you would expect from an amp of this size.
ID:Core BEAM Red's 12 voices and 12 effects
The ID:Core BEAM Red is based on the ID:Core Stereo 20. It has two 3-inch speakers and 2x 10 watts of power. It is compact and portable, and in terms of operation it's very user-friendly. Simply plug in your guitar or bass and choose from one of twelve voices (6 for electric guitar, 2 for bass guitar, 2 for acoustic guitar and 2 acoustic simulators). The ID:core BEAM's sound can be adjusted with the Gain and Volume controls and Blackstar's versatile ISF Tone control which offers everything from UK to USA type sounds. You can even create your own sound and save it on one of twelve patches. With the optional Blackstar FS-11 foot switch you can turn these on and off.
Effects and USB
The sound can be embellished further using one, two or three of the twelve effects. You can choose from four different variations of modulations, delays and reverbs. For late-night practise sessions a line output to connect headphones should come in handy. With the MP3/line input you can connect a guitar for jamming along or connect an MP3 player directly if you don't want to use the Bluetooth functionality. Finally, with Blackstar's free-to-download Insider software you can save more patches, edit sounds more extensively and share them the online community. The ID:Core BEAM Red comes complete with a 16V power adapter.
