This electric guitar has been built for extreme sports and breakneck-speeds, not just because of the hardcore look, but the hardcore build, which features a neck-through construction, where the solid graphite-reinforced maple neck has been shot straight through two poplar body-wings. This doesn't just boost the tuning stability, but makes this model near-insensitive to harsher wood-warping temperatures and humidity levels.

Ultimate Comfort

The maple neck has been bound to the headstock via a scarf-joint, elevating the stability even further while reducing the chance of playing fatigue in one shot. The compound fretboard radius, meanwhile, supports a rounder and more controlled grip further down, towards the headstock, and a flatter, lighter and faster feel the closer you get to the body, reducing the friction and supporting effortless note-bends and tapping.

Super tight sound is guaranteed by the pair of high-output Jackson humbuckers mounted at the bridge and neck. Isolate or combine the pickups at will via the three-way selector switch and fine-tune the result via the single volume and tone pots. The KEX has even been kitted out with a high-performance Floyd Rose Special double-locking tremolo system that keeps the tuning firmly intact during even the most deranged of whammy-bar tricks.
