The Jackson SLATHX 3-7 Gloss Black is the perfect guitar for metal and rock guitarists who want to switch to a seven-string solid body. This friendly-priced, high-quality Soloist is fitted with passive Seymour Duncan pickups - the Nazgul bridge pickup gives you a great guitar sound with a bit of definition, while the Sentient neck humbucker translates the famous PAF sound to a very modern sound. Your low B string will remain stable thanks to these pickups and the longer scale of 26.5 inches.

Thanks to the Jackson HT7 bridge and the neck-through-body construction, you get a stable guitar with just the right amount of sustain. This glossy black Soloist allows you to reach the highest fret with ease, you can even easily bend the strings at that position. Switching to the lower position for tight riffs will be just as comfortable. All of this is thanks to the compound radius of this SLATHX 3-7.

Une magnifique guitare, autant par la lutherie que par l'esthétique. Je pensait que les micros allaient être trop metal à mon goût mais que nenni: les sons saturés sont merveilleusement rock et les sons clairs superbement fluides et cristallins (merci Keith Merrow). Et que dire de sa plastique, sobre et claquante à la fois, d'un vernis noir du plus bel effet. En un mot comme en cent, un rapport qualité/prix imbattable, une belle guitare qui sonne le feu de Dieu: je la recommande fermement à tous les rockers et consorts voire même les autres, et referai cet achat sans problème.
