Originally built at the special request of guitar virtuoso Randy Rhoads, the Jackson Rhoads model has become a staple guitar. Never before, however, has the model come with such an affordable price tag as its does as part of Jackson's X series. What's more, this RRXT boasts a number of enhanced features, including a Duncan Designed pickup in both the bridge and the neck position, and a fully adjustable, string-through-body TonePros bridge. This Rhoads' 24-fret rosewood fretboard is fitted on a maple neck that's joined to the guitar's body by means of a neck-through construction.

An affordable neck-through guitar

Many of the X-Series RRXT Rhoads' features are usually only found on much more expensive guitars. Take the neck-through construction, for instance, which improves sustain considerably and gives you easy access to all the frets. The rosewood fretboard's compound radius enhances your playing ease as well, as it flattens out as you move your hand further up the neck. Instead of the 21 frets you usually find on a Rhoads guitar, this Jackson X-Series model has 24 jumbo frets.

Electronics and hardware

The Jackson RRXT Rhoads LH in Satin Black has two Duncan Designed humbuckers fitted onto its basswood body. The bridge pickup boasts a high-output ceramic magnet, while the neck pickup is an alnico model that produces a warm, defined sound. To cater to your every need, the electric guitar's TonePros bridge is fully adjustable, which means you can instantly switch to extremely low action, for instance. Its strings run through the body, ensuring outstanding sustain. Finally, a 3-way pickup switch allows you to select the exact sound you want.
