The American basswood body immediately lays down a reliably full and mid-rich foundation framed by the light bite of the stable, bolt-on, roasted maple neck and the added touch of warmth of the rosewood fretboard. While the body and headstock have both been dipped in Prussian Blue Metallic, the back of the neck has the buttery feel of a natural oil finish.

The C-profile of this Premium Series guitar has a familiar feel in the fret-hand, while the full set of twenty-four jumbo frets provide light and agile playability and have been forged from stainless steel to withstand a lifetime of intense fretwork. This setup comes backed up by a Gotoh T1502 tremolo bridge, a full pack of Gotoh MG-T machine heads, and a Graph Tech nut, all engineered to handle extreme action without dropping tune. When it comes to sound, a pair of Seymour Duncan Hyperion humbuckers shape a tight and thick tonal array, and this meaty configuration is teamed up with Ibanez' insane Dyna-MIX10 system to amount to a fat stack of ten possible voicings.
