Ibanez Iron Label RGIR9FME-FDF Faded Denim Burst Flat 9-String
Allmänt
The Ibanez RGIR9FME-FDF Iron Label Series is a 9-string electric guitar that in addition to the standard strings comes with an extra low B, F# and even a C# string! It's these strings that lend this sonic machine the capability to excellently fit various progressive and modern styles of metal. The commanding appearance of the RGIR9 is intensified further by its stylish Faded Denim Burst Flat finish on a flame maple topped nyatoh body, resulting in a guitar that's a great addition to the arsenal of any contemporary guitarist.
The RGIR9FME: Eye for Detail
Ibanez have chosen to load the RGIR9FME with a pair of EMG 909s. These active pickups carefully maintain the definition and brightness of the low notes so that tight rhythm parts are accounted for and, to keep each of the thick strings perfectly tensioned, the RGIR features an extra long 28-inch scale length. Combined with the extremely flat 37.4-inch radius, this extended-range guitar is surprisingly easy to play while the fixed Gibraltar Standard II-9 bridge takes care of solid tuning stability and accurate intonation.

This is the first time I have owned and played a 9 string.
This guitar looks and feels really comfortable to play.
Which Im sure will help me master this instrument.
Great bargain from BAX I believe I made the right choice!
Achetée dans le stock b, malheureusement plus d impacts que mentionné dans la présentation sur photos, très déçu des cordes graves qui frisent beaucoup.
Guitare au de gamme, elle est superbe pour le métal mes elle est aussi polyvalente.
I'm 7 & 8 string player for over 10 years and decided to try 9 string, so I bought this 9 string Ibanez and unfotunetally I had to return her. Maybe because I play only top quality guitars like Kiesel, Music Man, Mayones, Gibsons...and this RG is made in Indonesia and you can feel a low budget gutar. EMG doesn't hold low frequencies as they should, but the biggest issue for me is the machine heads, out of tune every 10 minutes, so locking tuners definitely recommended. Finish is kind of acceptable but again not the high quality. And this is personal preference but for me 38" radius which make a flat fingerboard doesn't feel right, I do prefer 20" radius made by Shcecter 9 string Hellraiser, but some people may actually like a flat fretboard. So let's compare the quality to the price...well it's way to expensive, that kind of instrument should cost half of the price what they are asking really, so think twice before you'll go for her because it's not a great guitar.
