Fender Special Edition '60s Stratocaster RW Lilac
Allmänt
In the 1960s, the Fender Stratocaster helped sound in a new era of music, filled with sounds that nobody had ever even thought of. It was an age in which many musicians embraced the Strat, allowing it to take them to new creative heights. As such, it's the ideal instrument for guitarists who are looking for that classic Stratocaster sound, look and feel. Whether you prefer blues or rock, surf or psychedelic, a Stratocaster will serve you well. This particular model is part of a Factory Special Run (FSR) series that stands out thanks to its use of colours that Fender has never employed before. Combined with the artificially aged pickguard and rosewood fretboard, its Lilac finish gives this guitar a very classy look.
Special Edition '60s Stratocaster: construction
With an alder body, this Strat has a well-balanced sound that makes it highly versatile. It features a bolt-on maple neck with a rosewood fretboard that features 21 medium jumbo frets. Rosewood gives this guitar a slightly warmer sound than a maple neck would have produced. Furthermore, to create the proper look, Fender fitted the Lilac FSR Stratocaster with vintage-style sealed self-lubricating tuners and a synchronised tremolo that allows you to add subtle vibrato effects to your playing. The artificially aged pickguard, pickup covers and knobs further enhance this guitar's classy look, while the Fender Vintage-Style Single-Coil Strat pickups take care of the classic sparkling Fender Strat sound.
Guitars from the Fender Classic series
Fender's Classic series consists of guitars that were modelled after traditional Telecaster, Stratocaster, Jazzmaster and Jaguar models. From their retro colours to their sturdy neck profiles, the Classic models manage to truly capture the essence of their illustrious predecessors. Combined with the traditional construction method and vintage hardware, this Stratocaster is as much like the original as possible. Fortunately, this guitar is a lot more affordable. Thanks to a number of modern modifications, the electric guitar's stability and playing comfort have been increased considerably. Relive the sixties with this FSR Fender Special Edition '60s Stratocaster, which still sounds as phenomenal as it did in its heyday.
