To celebrate, Fender offer the very special, cream-filled sound of his own Signature Strat. Right off the bat, the ash body lays down a tightly defined foundation sound while the smart chambering keeps the weight comfortably low and injects life into the core of the tone. The Kenny Wayne Shepherd Stratocaster: Retro Sixties Specs Plus a Few Crucial KWS Mods

Many of the specs of this Stratocaster match those of the mother of all Kenny's Fender Stratocaster's, his 1961 model, affectionately named, 'Martha'. Her voice can be heard all over earlier, classic albums, including 'Ledbetter Heights' and 'Trouble Is...'. To achieve the same vintage feel of Martha herself, this Strat comes fitted with an Early '60s C-profile neck and the rosewood fretboard has been shaped with an authentic 7.25-inch radius. Just like every Strat Kenny has ever picked up, this Signature model has 21 jumbo frets that offer exacting control over bends and vibrato, and to keep your strings cool in the heat of battle, Kenny's most-favourite GraphTech saddles finish the vintage-style synchronised tremolo bridge.
