Fresh from the Fender Custom Shop lab, the Custom Built Limited Edition ‘65 Stratocaster comes dipped in a transparent Aged Teal Green and features some effortlessly chic yet subtle design details. While known for their hand-applied Relic'd finishes, the Custom Shop has gone for an NOS (New Old Stock) paint-job and combined it with an AAA flame maple neck and fretboard to polish off a Strat that's worthy of the most discerning axe collection. The Fender Custom Shop LTD '65 Strat NOS comes pre-wrapped in a deluxe case complete with a strap and certificate of authenticity.
The Fender Custom Built Limited Edition ‘65 Stratocaster: Bring the Fire
The two-piece body has been built from specially selected alder before being loaded with a full set of Custom Shop Hand-Wound Fat '60s Single-Coil Strat pickups that lay down an immediately solid and endlessly variable foundation. The middle pickup has been reverse-wound and has a reversed polarity to reduce buzz and hum and, to support maximum clarity and definition at lower volume settings, this sweet loadout has even been backed up by a Tone Saver treble-bleed-circuit. Finally, the playability of this tight Custom Shop six-string is pushed through the roof by a '65-Style C neck profile and a classic 9.5 inch fretboard radius.

Deze Strat, geleverd met luxe koffer, is een juweeltje. Ik heb reeds verschillende Stratocasters in mijn bezit, maar deze is toch wel van uitzonderlijke kwaliteit. Bij de eerste speelmomenten voelde de arm niet onmiddellijk zo goed aan omdat die merkelijk dikker is dan de meeste van mijn andere gitaren. Na het veelvuldig uittesten van de superieure klanken voelt die arm nu steeds beter en beter aan, echt een plezier om op te spelen. Ik was wel een beetje bang van de kleur maar ben wel blij dat ik deze gekozen heb, je ziet deze kleur niet erg veel. Ik ben 100 % tevreden van mijn aankoop alsook van de prima service van Bax Music.
