The Meta MBM-1 Matthew Bellamy signature gitaar is the latest result of a collaboration between Cort and Bellamy's personal custom guitar builder, Hugh Manson. The aim for this electric guitar was to blend affordability in with the premium custom designs of the British masterbuilder. This means that the pleasing contours and finish alone make for a comfortable playing experience, with the compound radius of the fretboard only enhancing it further. While the first frets facilitate stable chord grips, it's the higher frets that let you sling superfast solos and throw in supple note bends.
The Meta MBM-1: From Clean to Full Overdrive
Outfitted with two passive humbuckers from Manson Guitar Works, this Cort signature model is ready to deliver a broad spectrum of anything clean to full overdrive to your amplifier. Both humbuckers can be singled out or combined using the 3-way switch before carefully tweaking the sound with the volume and tone pots and, for a little modern stutter effect, simply hit the kill switch on the top of the body. Finally and for superior tuning stability, this MBM-1 Matt Bellamy guitar is not only equipped with staggered locking machine heads, but also a solid bridge plus tailpiece configuration.
