With the introduction of the G290 FAT II, Cort bring us a widely deployable electric guitar with a stylish boutique look and a foundation sound shaped by a lightweight swamp ash body topped with stunning flamed maple. This combination of wood assists in shaping pleasing punch and an upper-midrange focus while two Voiced Tone VTH-77 humbuckers give you a modern amplified sound fit for pop, rock and blues. The CFA-III tremolo bridge with stainless-steel saddles combined with locking machine heads make sure you can fully count on tuning stability and flawless intonation.

Aside from the stunning finish on the body, the neck is really something else as well since both the fretboard and the neck itself are crafted out of caramel-coloured roasted maple, which has been thermo-treated to reduce moisture and improve stability. Another striking detail is the compound radius, which runs from 12 inches at the headstock to 15.75 inches near the body, accommodating easy rhythm parts and leads alike. Add that to the new Ergo-V neck profile for ultimate levels of playability and it's clear to see that Cort have put a mountain of effort into the development of this electric guitar.

The hype online about this guitar by people like Darell Braun and others is justified.
It’s a hidden gem loaded with great features usually reserved for guitars hundreds of pounds more. Locking tuners, luminous fret markers, split humbuckers, roasted maple neck (lovely profile and feel).
Don’t be fooled by the simple looking trem, it’s very good.
Mooie gitaar, speelt lekker. Ik vind de single - coil opties erg zwak maar de humbucker - opties zijn erg bruikbaar. Ik vind het jammer dat er geen gebruiksaanwijzing wordt meegestuurd. Ik moest zelf uitvinden dat je de pop - ingang voor de tremelo - arm aan de buitenzijde kan aanpassen zodat de arm steviger blijft zitten. Ook op de website kan je niets vinden. Uiteraard kan je even naar de winkel of een andere gitaarexpert maar je moet zelf ook wel simpele klussen kunnen oplossen. Verder zeer tevreden. Voor weinig geld veel gitaar!
Ik heb deze gitaar als impuls aankoop aangeschaft. Een betere keuze had ik niet kunnen maken! In het echt ziet de gitaar er beter uit dan op de stock foto. De hals en het fretboard zijn gesneden uit twee prachtige stukken birdseye maple. de swamp ash body met flamed maple veneer ziet er ook prachtig uit. De hals zelf heeft een aangename satin finish met een aangenaam profiel.

- geen dode noten. (frets zijn goed afgewerkt)

- stabiele tremolo.
- goed afgesteld uit de doos.
- prachtig afgewerkt zonder beschadiging of defect.
- na twee uur spelen nauwelijks ontstemd.
minpunten:
- De tremolo brug heeft nogal een scherpe hoek die niet comfortabel is tijdens het dempen van snaren of het rusten van de rechter-hand op de brug.
Al met al is dit een geweldige gitaar voor een eerlijke prijs.

Nice guitar. Worth the money. Shame the jack socket was loose and needed attention and slight dent in pick up cover so not 5 stars.
