The Yamaha LL16 ARE Natural is an all-solid western guitar with a fresh, organic finish. This model is a stylish classic, and the closer you look, the more you'll be able to appreciate the high quality and excellent craftsmanship. Specially selected Engelmann spruce was used for the solid top, so you can rest assured that the most vital part of this acoustic guitar is well taken care of. Amongst guitar artisans and musicians, Engelmann is known as an outstanding tonewood, and is appreciated for its open, resonant sound. With the LL16 ARE, these characteristics combine smoothly with the warmth and balance offered by the rosewood sides and back. Yamaha LL16 ARE: body and pickup
This LL model features an original jumbo-sized body that's famous for its ample volume, outstanding balance and broad dynamic range. The internal bracing on this model has been improved to give the bass frequencies a good boost, without loosing transparency in the higher frequencies. Furthermore, the traditional neck profile was designed for comfort, with improved action, string spacing and tapering to improve overall playability. With the SRT Zero Impact contact pickup, the LL16 ARE can be easily amplified. Just connect to an amplifier with a guitar cable and adjust the sound from there. The pickup system was specially designed by Yamaha to accurately reproduce your playing and dynamics without taking away from the classic look of the guitar with added hardware.
Acoustic Resonance Enhancement
Yamaha added a big dose of technology to the development of the LL16D. By way of Acoustic Resonance Enhancement, a new piece of Engelmann spruce was enhanced to take on the superior sound characteristics of vintage wood. The ARE process involves mixing up a precise cocktail of temperature, air pressure and moisture in order to change the molecular makeup of the wood. This means that the LL16 ARE comes out of the box with the full, rich tone of a vintage guitar, that you'd typically have to wait for years to develop. This outstanding Yamaha has a great sound, excellent playability, and comes with a soft case.

De sound liegt er niet om. Vanaf het eerste moment dat ik het geluid hoorde wat hieruit kwam was ik verkocht. Zowel voor strum (met plectrum) of fingerpicking zeer geschikt. Mooi afgewerkt.
Ik merk ondanks temp wisselingen dat ik hem nauwelijks hoef te stemmen, door de technieken die Yamaha heeft toegepast. En hij speelt lekker!
Perfect advise from the Bax sales consultant. Lovely and great warm sounding guitar, exactly the sound I was looking for. With a basic pickup: passive, no controls, for me exactly fit for purpose as I will use the guitar for playing and practicing at home and in the studio. Eventually recording of this great sound will be done the best way possible: with a microphone 😉
Possédant déjà une LAG T100ASCE je désirais une vrai acoustique, et là il faut dire que j'ai pas été déçu. Elle à une sacré caisse cette gratte, chaud, rond, puissant,avec des basses qui envoie du bois ! C'est simple ma LAG passe pour un Banjo à coté !! Son Manche est ultra confortable, les mecaniques d'une grande précision, un bonheur ! Je suis complètement accro de cette gratte, qui me donne l'impression de jouer bien mieux que ce que je pensais ! C'est une gratte qui te fais progresser, car tu peux pas la lâcher ! J'ai l'impression de jouer sur une gratte, a 3 fois son prix ! Essayée la si vous pouvez, car l'essayer c'est l'adoptée. recommandé a 100%
