Specially redesigned, the Ibanez Advanced Acoustic Series AAD1012E twelve-string packs enhanced sound and satisfying playability. Compared to standard dreadnoughts, the okoume body of this grand dreadnought guitar is roughly 5% larger and combines with a thermo-aged, Low Oval Grip-profile nyatoh neck and a rounded ovangkol fretboard for a snug, natural playing feel and eased chord-and-note-grabbing.
The Ibanez AAD100E: Special X-M Bracing & Full-Range 12-String Sound
A solid Sitka spruce soundboard gives the AAD1012E a rich, resonant acoustic foundation that's fully packed out with tight, prominent basses, lightly-scooped mids and bright trebles. To ensure optimal string-to-body vibrational transfer, Ibanez have not only opted for a scalloped ovangkol bridge but a special X-M bracing structure, while full-range amplified sound is taken care of by a Custom Electronics preamp and an AP11 magnetic pickup. Simply dial in the sonic specifics using the volume and tone controls and get on the stage or into the studio.
