Allmänt
The Sennheiser E 608 is a very compact dynamic instrument microphone that is perfect for amplifying brass and woodwind instruments. You can attach the microphone directly to the instrument by means of the accessory multifunctional clip. With the flexible gooseneck you can then place the capsule in the optimal position for the best, crystal clear registration. The capsule has been placed in an internal shock mount, so handling noise won't bother you. The Sennheiser E 608 is also perfectly suited for recording drums and percussion instruments.
E608: the sound
The Sennheiser E 608 has a super cardioid pick-up pattern. You can position it easily and it doesn't produce a lot of ambient noise. The microphone has a frequency range of 40 Hz to 16 kHz with a peak in the high-mid and high frequency area. This results in a powerful, open and bright sound. The microphone weighs only 20 grams, excluding the cable. You'll hardly notice it during playing.

Erg tevreden over deze mic. Gebruik hem voor opnames van de saxofoon. Mooi geluid.
Inderdaad geen phantoom voeding nodig wat een hoop gedoe scheelt en blijft goed op de beker van mijn sax zitten zelfs als ik over het podium aan het springen ben! Ook ben ik dik tevreden over het geluid!
Prima mic, maar ten opzichte van de condensator-variant 908
- minder richtinggevoelig (meer feedback via PA/monitor)
- minder handige bevestiging (zeker als je vaak van instrument wisselt)

Deze microfoon heb ik nu ongeveer 5 jaar in huis en ben er nog steeds erg blij mee! Zeker voor de prijs is de kwaliteit erg goed. Je moet er wel voorzichtig mee omgaan aangezien het snoer erg dun is en het microfoontje met een soort van shock-mount aan de rest vast zit.
