With the 10-inch PMDJ1-M-F Travel Series Djembe, Meinl delivers another high-quality djembe. These drums originate from West-Africa, but nowadays they are used all over the world. This medium djembe has a North-African look, thanks the the Egyptian inspired decorations. It features a durable 10-inch synthetic drumhead. a mechanical tuning system and a 20-inch high body.
Lightweight
The Travel Series djembes are specially designed for percussionists who like to perform outside. The synthetic drumhead is resistant to temperature changes, making it ideal for that very purpose, while the synthetic shell is remarkably lightweight - 20% lighter, in fact, than a fibreglass djembe.
Pitch
This djembe offers rich, deep bass tones and a powerful slap. An ingenious tuning system allows you to adjust the pitch of the drum even while you're playing, which means you can bring a wide variety of sounds to your audience. Safely setting your djembe down is no issue, thanks to the rubber ring on the bottom. All in all, this Meinl djembe is a beautiful instrument that is perfect for outdoor performances.
