Scarlett Overdrive: a high-grade compact pedal with a sweet sound
Like all Seven Sisters, the Scarlett Overdrive pedal comes with an integrated lithium-ion battery. After a 4-hour charging cycle using a standard 9V DC PSU, you'll be able to enjoy this micro pedal's sweet overdrive sounds for up to 120 hours. A Gain knob determines the level of overdrive, while a Vol knob allows you to adjust the effects volume. Could you do with a little more (or less) treble and gain? Simply tweak the pedal's internal trimpot with a phillips screwdriver. Just like her sisters, Scarlett offers high-grade sound in a compact housing for a very reasonable price.

Na uitgebreid testen over verschillende amps (Orange, Marshall, Fender) kwam ik tot de conclusie dat dit een blijvertje is. Een van de betere overdrives die ik al in een tijdje heb getest.
Qua sound kan deze overdrive van klassieke rock sounds (denk "Born to be wild"-Steppenwolf) tot modernere rock/stoner sounds (denk "Blood and thunder"-Mastodon) en nog veel meer tussen in.
Heel handig is de herlaadbare batterij die een adapterkabel overbodig maakt. Het enige wat mij tegenhoud om deze overdrive 5 sterren te geven is de interne tone trimpot, deze mocht van mij op een makkelijk bereikbare plaats staan zodat ik niet elke keer dit pedaaltje moet opendraaien als ik iets wil aanpassen.
Ik was op zoek naar een pedaal wat het warme iets grommende geluid imiteerde van mijn oude buizenbakkie.Scarlet komt dicht in de buurt (met de gain op 2)
Lekker hoor!! En zo compact!!

Goed klinkend pedaaltje, volume blijft bij verschillende maten van overdrive vrijwel gelijk wat prettig is. Ingebouwde accu is helemaal super.
