The Holy Stain was Electro Harmonix's first multi-effect pedal and still has a loyal base of both old and new fans. Small wonder, as the Holy Stain combines a number great effects in a single pedal.
The effects
The Holy Stain features two types of distortion - fuzz and drive - as well as four DSP effects: room reverb, hall reverb, pitch shift and tremolo. This allows you to combine effects and to create a wide range of diverse sounds, which can be tweaked to perfection using the tone control knobs. Use this pedal live on stage and you're sure to astound your audience.
Protection
The Holy Stain looks just as stylish as any other Electro Harmonix effect pedal. A rugged die-cast metal housing protects the the high-grade internal components, which produce a noise and distortion-free sound. The controls are also made of durable, high-quality materials, ensuring the pedal will last you a lifetime.

Ik weet niet zo goed wat ik met dit apparaat moet. Je vindt het of te gek of helemaal niet. Ik hoor tot de laatste groep. Heb 'm een tijdje uitgeprobeerd en je kunt er echt heel veel mee. Ongelofelijk veel zelfs! Maar ik ben niet zo enthousiast over de klanken maar dat is natuurlijk vooral een kwestie van smaak. De bediening is op zich simpel. Kocht hem vooral voor de reverb en de tremolo. In reviews las ik vooral veel positiefs over de reverb terwijl die mij wat tegen viel. Nadeel is ook dat je maar 1 effect tegelijk kunt gebruiken. De truebypass is weer een pluspunt. Voeding wordt meegeleverd, ideaal!
Wil je een simpel te bedienen multi-effectapparaat en er ook niet veel geld voor uitgeven dan is de Holy Stain wel de moeite van het uitproberen waard.
