De ProDX8 is the larger version of the ProDX4 which features four additional channels, which means it's slightly longer. Other than that, they're virtually the same, both offering the ability for you to operate their functions using the app MixerConnect on your smartphone via Bluetooth.
The ProDX8 in practice
Large, digital mixers are often not only too pricey for smaller venues, they often contain a lot of features that just aren't necessary. Mackie offers a great alternative with the ProDX8, which is equipped with 6 mic/line inputs, sufficient to amplify a small live combo, and two monitor channels for a perfect, personalised mix.

The ProDX series by Mackie consists of completely wireless digital mixers that are operable via your smartphone. They are equipped with a fully dynamic EQ and an effects module with 16 digital effects. A powerful internal processor ensures a bright, clear sound with virtually no latency. Ideaal apparaat. Na ontvangst had ik de ProDX8 binnen 5 minuten aan de praat. Zeer overzichtelijke bediening, een kind kan de was doen.
Ideaal voor optredens zonder geluidsman en/of wanneer de geluidsman achter het geluid staat. Steeds heen en weer lopen tussen de mengtafel en de zaal is verleden tijd.

Superhandige mixer. Je kunt met deze mixer rustig in de zaal met je iphone zitten en het geluid naar wens aanpassen. Groot bereik en voor het bandje zijn de paar knoppen goed te begrijpen om zelf het volume in te stellen. Simpel. Ik heb nog wel eens problemen met het connecten van de mixer via bluetooth maar is altijd wel op te lossen door aan en uit te zetten.
