Allmänt
In the early '70s, when Hohner added a synthetic comb to the Special 20 Classic, this sparked a revolutionary change in the world of harmonicas. The addition, combined with stainless steel cover plates with closed sides, helped make the harmonica extremely airtight and allowed for lightning-quick response. Furthermore, a synthetic comb is incredibly durable, lasting much longer than a wooden comb, since the plastic doesn't expand. The harmonica's mouthpiece is also made of plastic, making it very comfortable to play. The Special 20 Classic is suitable for a wide range of genres, from country and folk, to blues and soul. Its 20 brass reeds are attached to the reed plate with screws, and the reed plates can be replaced if you so desire.
Hohner Quality
Hohner has over 150 years of experience producing harmonica's, and their instruments are used by famous artists all over the world, ranging from Bob Dylan to Toots Thielemans. For an important part, the production process is still done by hand - important steps such as quality control and tuning still haven't been automated, and they never will be. That's because Hohner feels like it can only deliver high-quality harmonicas if those essential steps are done by hand. As such, playing a Hohner harmonica conjures up a feeling that only a true Hohner can give you.

Après avoir utilisé plusieurs modèles, en différentes tonalités , j'ai adopté le spécial 20 pour sa réponse plus facile aux altérations. Je remplace progressivement mes autres tonalités par ce modèle.
Meilleur que Marine bande, bluesband, Lee Oskar et Ms Milteau... c'est mon avis!
Harmonica facile à jouer et "doux" pour les lèvres: ce n'est donc pas un "ruine babines" comme disent les Québécois! Il est donc plus agréable qu'un Marine Band classique n°1896 qui a tendance, en tout cas quand on est débutant, a justement entamer les "babines"!! Donc un bon harmonica à la fois léger et costaud. Attention cependant, certaines lames doivent être un peu rodées avant de sonner juste.
Mooie, goed klinkende harmonica. De kam voelt wat goedkoper aan dan een warme houten kam, maar al bij al speelt het lekker aangenaam! Top service ook.
So far so good -- seems a little tighter than my Blues Harp, but I was hoping (against hope) that I'd finally get an overblow. Still no luck with that. Just slightly warmer tone than the Blues Harp.
ATTENTION !!!! L'harmonica qui est sur la photo correspond à la gamme de "Do" car il y a un "C" sur l'harmonica en haut à droite.
L'harmonica que j'ai reçu est en "Ré" avec un petit "D".

Prima instrumentje. Een beetje dom van me om de verkeerde toonsoort te bestellen, waar ik pas achter kwam toen ik hem bij een optreden maar eens ging inzetten. Maar een D-tje komt altijd wel van pas dus die G bestel ik er binnenkort wel bij.
