These days, producing music can be affordable and within everyone's reach. With the right software, you can do just about everything yourself. The Acoustica Mixcraft 8 Pro Studio DAW is the latest addition to the brand's affordable series. It's a surprisingly complete package that offers a general section to record and edit tracks, and an editor for your parts. The Performance Panel allows you to create a global composition with individual clips, for which you can even use an Ableton controller. That means you can use Mixcraft while performing live as well!
Updates in Mixcraft 8
The sound engine has been greatly improved with support for delay compensation. The routing is also more flexible when it comes to insert/send tracks, and side-chaining is now easy to control. VST3 and MP4 video are also supported which means the very latest virtual instruments will work seamlessly with Mixcraft. The Performance Panel has also been revamped so you can record loops in a clip while Mixcraft is playing. The user interface has been enhanced, and sound browsing, automation recording and a number of new virtual instruments and effects have been freshened up.
Making a video clip
If you want a way to record live performances, Mixcraft offers the solution: as well as a DAW, this package is also a video editor. It allows you to load your videos and photos in, add crossfades and other image transitions, and really make something impressive. Add a layer of professionalism with video effects, titles, or credit scrolls. After exporting, your video is instantly ready to upload to YouTube, Vimeo and Facebook.
Pro version extra
The pro version of this software offers extras that you may not want to live without. One of them is the Melodyne Essential for adjusting the pitch of your vocals, for example. The included synths are also nothing to scoff at, and include virtual versions of the Memorymoog and CS-80, as well as a generic virtual analogue synthesizer that always comes in handy. It also features an elegant virtual Steinway Model D grand piano, and for the final stages in the production process, it offers iZotope Mastering Essentials.

Commandé et payé le 31 janvier j'attends toujours ce jour lundi 11 février de pouvoir télécharger Mixcraft pro studio 8. Gros problème visiblement de traitement de ma commande. Un code m'a été envoyé une semaine après la commande mais ce code ne me permets pas le téléchargement parce que "déjà utilsé" sur le site d'Acoustica. Réclamation et l'on m'annonce une investigation de 8 à 10 jours pour comprendre .. je suis en colère !
Mixcraft Pro 8 est phénoménal, d'une simplicité inégalée comparé à certains DAW. J'ai Ableton live lite 9 et Cubase Element 9 (je galère parfois pour obtenir ce que je souhaite faire avec ces 2 logiciels), mais depuis l'achat de Mixcraft Pro 8 je ne me sers que de ce logiciel comme DAW. Un autre point intéressant : le logiciel Melodyne 4 Essential est inclus dans l'achat de Mixcraft Pro 8. Quand on sait que Melodyne 4 Essential acheté à part vaut une centaine d'euros. Mixcraft Pro 8 et Melodyne, l'ensemble vaut moins de 200 euros. C'est un plaisir d'utiliser ces 2 logiciels, ils me permettent de tester mes compositions et voir les erreurs avant de finaliser. Je vous recommande d'acheter Mixcraft Pro 8 (inclus Melodyne 4 Essential).
Vergeet Cubase, vergeet Studio One, etc. Witchcraft 8 Pro Studio is fantastisch. Compleet, zeer eenvoudig in het gebruik en zeer weinig geld. Paul - Haarlem
