The Rupert Neve Shelford Series 5254 two-channel diode bridge compressor should need little introduction. Those in-the-know will already be familiar with the 'punch' and 'glue' of the modern classic that is the Neve 2254, and since this model has been based on the OG, that's exactly what you can expect. The Shelford 5254 takes the character of old-school diode bridge compressors before piling on the modern specifications and controls. As a result, the noise floor has been reduced dramatically and every parameter can be set with even more accuracy. The two channels can also be adjusted independently and, when you're working with a stereo signal, the channels can be linked to avoid any malfunctions.
