The biggest, meanest speaker from JBL's PRX series is the PRX818XLFW active subwoofer with built-in Wi-Fi capability. The last three letters in its name indicates how low it can go. It boasts 1500 watts of pure, unadulterated power from the Class-D amplifier thanks to the brand's own 2278G 18-inch woofer. The great thing about it is the Differential Drive dual voice coil with a magnetic hole that produces sub-low vibrations and an impressive frequency range of 30 to 103 Hz. The built-in DSP ensures the best audio possible.
Road-ready
With this much power at your disposal, a rugged cabinet with sturdy handles is a must. The PRX818XLFW's housing is heavy-duty and comes in at just under 37 kgs. You can create ultimate audio setups by combining products from the PRX800W range and operating everything wirelessly with your tablet. Thanks to the DBX limiter circuit and the intelligent integrated cooling fan, this active sub is not likely to exceed its capacity.
