Mackie's FreePlay Personal PA is a portable full-range speaker that is battery-powered, so you can take it with you wherever you go. It's equipped with a built-in 4-channel mixer that enables you to adjust its output to your personal preferences.
Impressive audio quality
Mackie's Personal PA is equipped with a high-output 8-inch speaker, which delivers an outstanding bass response. The FreePlay speaker has built-in connectors for microphones, as well as line and instrument inputs, and its digital mixer offers a number of effects, so you can add some spice to your sound. It's possible to power this PA with the included power supply, or make it portable with a separately available rechargeable lithium-ion battery, which offers a battery life of approximately ten hours, or D-cell batteries.
Wireless control with Freeplay app
The FreePlay is equipped with a built-in Bluetooth receiver, which allows you to set up a quick connection with your phone, tablet, Mac, PC or other Bluetooth music device. Once a link has been established, you can wirelessly stream as much music as you like. Download the Freeplay app for iPhone and iPad, and you'll even be able to wirelessly control the speaker's digital mixer, or apply effects to your guitar or voice. With the FreePlay Personal PA, Mackie has issued a comprehensive portable sound system that's suitable for a variety of purposes, from wedding speeches to busking.

Matériel très performant et impressionnant vu sa taille. Il faut dire qu'avec Mackie, pas de mauvaises surprises ! Parfait pour des petits gigs acoustiques voix a cappella ou voix/bandes instrumentales ou voix/instrument. A mon avis, correspond aux pièces d'une capacité maximale de 100m2 et à essayer en itinérant car le son est bien large avec notamment l'équalisation "DJ" qui a de bonnes basses.
Large choix de reverbs en bluetooth et très beau design.
Les seuls points noirs :
- Il n'a que deux entrées XLR/Jack et une entrée mini-jack, ce qui est déjà bien mais à titre personnel, j'aurais préféré une version avec 3 ou 4 entrées XLR/Jack, d'où mon étoile en moins. On ne peut pas tout avoir.
- Les accessoires onéreux à acheter à part (stand pour le mettre sur pieds 30, batterie 75, housse de transport 75)
