If you want a virtually perfect balance of output capacity, range and portability, the PRX815W active speaker by JBL with 15-inch woofer and built-in Wi-Fi capability ticks all the boxes. Download the PRX Connect app from the App Store and tweak the 8-band EQ to perfection by means of the integrated DSP. That way, you can adjust the 1500 watts generated by the Class-D amplifier with even greater accuracy by choosing between normal speaker and monitor mode, for instance.
Intelligently built
The PRX815W's durable plywood cabinet contains JBL's renowned professional technology, including a handmade 15-inch woofer and 1.5-inch tweeter that boasts an enormous range. Depending on the chosen settings (see the specifications), you can have an audio palette that goes from 46 Hz to 20 kHz. One of the first things you're sure to notice once this speaker is plugged in, is how quiet it is. This is because the fan is only activated when absolutely necessary, and the speed of the fan is based on the amount of heat being generated. This speaker is not likely to exceed its capacity thanks to the DBX limiter circuit. All you need to worry about is finding the perfect spot for it when you decide how you want to use it: as a line-array in combination with a sub, placed on a speaker pole, mounted to the wall or ceiling by means of the 12 M10 rigging points, or as a floor monitor.

Excellent produit, nous étions sur du passif, étant réticents à l'actif, et que des avantages en terme de volume, poids et qualité sonore.

Top geluid mits je de fijn afstelling gebruikt via de connect app
Die werkt allen als je Wi-Fi hebt,aangezien niet iedereen zaal dat heeft kun je dus niet ter plaatse afregelen.. minpunt van Jbl. Wat verder vervelend is aan de app dat het nogal wat tijd kost voordat je alles hebt zoals je het wilt.. is voor mobile dj of band niet handig. Er is ook nergens een goede gebruiksaanwijzing hoe je de boel instelt.. ja filmpje op YouTube, Bax shop hoef je er ook niet over te bellen.. krijg je een mail van dat moet kunnen zonder verdere uitleg... bellen hoef je überhaupt niet tenzij je graag een uur in de wacht wilt staan( slechte zaak)
Al met al een mooi systeem voor een vaste lokatie met wifi.
