Bax-shop offers the complete line of Fender American Standard instruments. Naturally, we also stock the left-handed versions like this (3-colour Sunburst) Telecaster electric guitar. The American Standard Telecaster is Fender's latest edition of the timeless classic. Known for its clear, bright sound it can be heard in all kinds of music, from country and jazz to blues and hard rock. Fender has equipped this version of this iconic guitar with a set of exclusive Custom Shop pickups. Additionally, the back of the body features a comfortable contour like the ones you find on a Stratocaster and Jaguar. This left-handed guitar comes with a luxury case with rugged TSA latches and a Fender guitar strap, an instrument cable and a polishing cloth.
The new American Standard Telecaster LH
Although this left-handed Fender American Standard Telecaster looks exactly the same as its predecessor, the back of its body now has a body contour that makes it more comfortable to wear. It doesn't matter whether your sitting down or standing up; you can now say goodbye to rib-grinding edges. Its sound has also been massively improved with the help of a set of high-quality pickups from Fender's Custom Shop. The Broadcaster is a Tele bridge pickup on steroids that produces the authentic '50s Telecaster sound, only bigger and tighter with more punch and bite. In the neck position we find the Twisted Tele single-coil that has a Stratocaster-like sparkling sound which is a better match to that of the bridge pickup.
A genuine classic modified for modern guitarists
The Fender American Standard Telecaster LH combines the vintage vibes of the original '51 Tele with the playability, build quality and reliability of a modern guitar. Its neck, for instance, features 22 medium jumbo frets, a two-way truss rod and a relatively flat 9.5-inch fretboard radius. This enables a very low action without clattering or loss of strings. The modern Tele-style bridge has a five-screw mounting for improved transference and sustain as well as six adjustable steel Strat-type saddles that offer both optimal intonation and the authentic Tele sound. The staggered machine heads provide excellent pressure on the string nut, even without a second string guide, so there's less noise and more tone, sustain and tuning stability.
