The X-48MKII is a multi-track recorder and DAW in one, and offers you a stable, ideal solution for all your recording needs. The recorder allows you to record up to 48 tracks simultaneously at a maximum resolution of 24 bits/96 kHz and with the stability and ease usually associated with a hard disk recorder. Recorded audio tracks can be extensively edited using the graphic interface. Each channel features Dynamics, a four-band parametric EQ and four inserts for all your VST plug-ins.
The X48 MKII: more than just a recorder.
The X-48MKII houses technology that exceeds the level of a traditional stand-alone recorder. The recorder/workstation features a fully automated 48-channel digital mixer, a VGA display output, powerful editing functions and a DVD+RW backup drive, to name just a few examples.
File transfer
Thanks to the broadcast WAV format and OMF import and export, your recorded data are fully compatible with a large number of DAWs, including Pro Tools, Logic, Nuendo and Digital Performer. Files can be quickly transferred via the external eSATA connector for your hard drive, or via the Gigabit Ethernet port.
