The Roland PD-125X is a highly sensitive, mesh-head V-Pad, equipped with dual-triggering technology. The term mesh head indicates that the drum head of the Roland PD-125X V-Pad is made of a mesh material. Compared to a rubber pad, this mesh head is much more quiet, while its looks and response are much closer to those of an acoustic drum. The PD-125X is fitted with a shell wrap with a beautiful, brushed-metal finish, which can easily be interchanged for another of Roland's (optional) shell wraps, or for one of your own. This mesh-head V-Pad is suited for any Roland drum module, but functions optimally in combination with the TD-20, TD-12, TD-10 or TD-8.

The triggers of the PD-125

The Roland PD125 is equipped with a dual-triggering system, which enables you to create a distinctly audible difference between a rimshot and a regular stroke on the head. Connect it to the snare input of the TD-20 or TD-12 and you can also use brush techniques. These modules even offer dual-trigger support for the tom inputs.
