Features of the Jackson JS32 Kelly
The body of the JS32 is made of basswood, a lightweight type of wood that produces a full tone with rich mids. The neck is made of maple and has been bolted onto the body and has been reinforced with graphite truss rods for extra strength and stability. Around the 24-fret rosewood fretboard you can find white bindings with Jackson's characteristic shark fin inlays.
Compound radius-fretboard
The fretboard of the JS32 Kelly has a compound radius. This means that the fretboard is quite rounded near the lower positions, and flattens as you move towards the body. As a result, you'll be able to comfortably play low open chords and barre chords. You’ll also find that even with a super low action at the higher positions, you’ll still be able to easily bend the strings without suffering any buzzing or loss of notes.
