Allmänt

The electro-acoustic Guild D-125CD (Cherry Red) is a member of the GAD series. Guild Guitar aficionados know that means that we're going to be talking about a mildly priced instrument with a great sound. That great sound is the characteristically pure, thick Guild sound, which is created by a strong, fully resonating body of solid mahogany. It is amplified via a Fishman Sonitone system.

A body with a warm sound

Mahogany, a wood type used for higher grade guitars - was used for the both the neck and body to add warmth with still enough clarity. The spacious dreadnought body ensures a good dose of low frequencies, and the Cherry Red finish, white bindings and mother-of-pearl rosette and inlays provide plenty of elegance.

Playability and amplification

You'll be able to experience the great, supple playability that Guild guitars are known for with the D125 CE, thanks to the slim, satin-gloss neck and convenient cutaway. Furthermore, this instrument is easy to amplify thanks to the Sonitone Soundhole Pickup system by the famous Fishman. The volume and tone controls are on the inside of the body on the edge of the soundhole to make them as unnoticeable as possible, so you can still enjoy the pure looks of an acoustic guitar.
