Twenty years after the introduction of the first Vibro King guitar amplifier in 1993, Fender proudly introduced this black Vibro King 20th Anniversary Edition. It is a special edition of the Vibro King that goes back to its roots and was made completely by hand. The Vibro King is a single-channel tube amplifier combo with a built-in reverb and tremolo effects. One of the most notable features of this combo is its trio of warm-sounding 10-inch speakers that were specially designed by Jensen. This black version features a Blackface-style front control panel with cream-coloured knobs, black tolex vinyl and a silver-coloured grille cloth. The Vibro King is also available as a Blonde or a Brown version.

The Vibro King is widely regarded to be one of the most dynamic guitar amplifiers ever made. It responds to your play immediately and manages to produce an exquisite sound under even the most rough or subtle playing styles. It owes this sound in a large part to its carefully hand-soldered circuit and high-quality Schumacher transformers. Despite the fact that it only has one channel, you'll be able to draw some rather impressive, high-quality sounds from this 20th Anniversary Edition combo. You can go from sparkling cleans at a low volume to a powerful, fat distortion when you open up the volume and engage the FAT mode.

Built-in effects and extra connectors

A distinctive feature of the Fender Vibro King are of course its magnificent tube-driven effects. A 63-style pre-gain reverb with Dwell, Mix and Tone controls for a delightfully full, spacious sound. The vibrato effect has a Speed and an Intensity knob that allow you to optimally adjust the amount and speed of the tremolo effect. If you like to use effect pedals or processors, you can use the effects loop on the back. The accessory 2-knob foot switch lets you select the vibrato and FAT boost functions. Lastly, this combo features a 4-ohm output for an external speaker cabinet for an even fuller sound.
